Indiana vs. Rutgers Availability Report: Hoosiers List Four Players Out

Indiana has released its initial availability report for Saturday night’s Big Ten road game against Rutgers in Piscataway.

The Hoosiers list four players as out, including defensive lineman Daniel Ndukwe and running back Khobie Martin. Defensive back A.J. Harris and running back Sean Cuono are questionable, while running back Turbo Richard and linebacker Rolijah Hardy are listed as probable.

Indiana Availability Report

  • DB #0 Carson Williams
  • WR #6 Lebron Bond
  • DL #17 Daniel Ndukwe
  • RB #28 Khobie Martin

Questionable

  • DB #4 A.J. Harris
  • RB #20 Sean Cuono

Probable

  • RB #1 Turbo Richard
  • LB #5 Rolijah Hardy

What It Means for Indiana

The running back room will be one to watch as the week progresses. Martin is out, Cuono is questionable and Richard is probable on the initial report. Lee Beebe Jr. therefore remains an important part of Indiana’s backfield entering the matchup.

Ndukwe’s absence is also notable for an Indiana defensive front that has generated consistent disruption through the first four games. The status of Harris and Hardy will be worth monitoring as Indiana prepares for a Rutgers offense with several capable skill players.

Rutgers Availability

Rutgers lists defensive back Kevin Levy as out. Defensive backs Davoun Fuse and Steven Murray are doubtful. Running back Antwan Raymond, defensive back Kevyn Humes, wide receiver Dylan Braithwaite and offensive lineman Dantae Chin are questionable, while defensive back Kaj Sanders is probable.

Raymond’s status is particularly significant for Rutgers. The running back has been one of the Scarlet Knights’ primary offensive weapons through the opening four games.

Indiana and Rutgers are scheduled for Saturday, October 3 at 8:00 p.m. ET in Piscataway, New Jersey, with the game televised on Big Ten Network. Availability designations can change before kickoff, so Hoosier Tailgate will continue to follow the report as game day approaches.
